Specialists of NIK contribute to the development of young generation
On 20th of April 2017 as a part of the Astronautics Day our company organized 3D-
drawing master-class for school students. Lead specialist of the Development Department Igor Ermolin told children about modern manufacturing process- Additive Manufacturing, focusing children attention on the 3D modeling process and following printing of items by means of 3D printers.
NIK ltd. and the Guangxi investment company have signed the agreement on creation in Fangchenggang of the Russian-Chinese industrial park of aircraft of general purpose in Fangchenggang
NIK ltd, town hall of Fangchenggang (The Guangxi Zhuang autonomous district, the Southern China) and the Guangxi investment company "New Aviation Town" have signed the framework agreement on creation of joint venture within the Russian-Chinese industrial park for aircraft of general purpose in the territory of the city of Fangchenggang.
Research and Engineering Company Ltd. (NIK) was founded in 1997 by a group of employees from Myasishchev Design Bureau.
In recent years the number of engineers has increased from 6 to more than 550.
The staff consists mainly of experienced aircraft design engineers, stress analysts, and production engineers that used to be actively involved in the development of Myasishchev’s main projects, including:
- Buran Shuttle.
- VM-T Atlant carrier for the Energia-Buran system.
- M-17 and M-55 high-altitude aircraft.
- Orel high-altitude UAV.
- M-101T Gzhel aircraft.
The company provides engineering and consulting services for aircraft-industry and a number of other enterprises.
Our team has gained skills in the implementation of international projects while designing aircraft for the Boeing Company.
The company management system is certified according to ISO 9001:2008.
NIK is situated in Zhukovsky, in the National Aircraft Engineering Center. Our proximity to Central Aerohydrodynamic Institute (TsAGI), Myasishchev Design Bureau (EMZ), Flight Research Institute (LII), Institute of Aircraft Equipment (NIIAO), and Scientific Research Institute of Instrument Design (NIIP) enables us to pool our resources and collectively tackle complex technical problems.
