WAAM - Wire-Arc Additive Manufacturing
We offer wire-arc additive manufacturing (WAAM).
Description.
WAAM is a method of additive production that uses arc welding to melt metal wires. Metal wires are placed in layers by a robotic manipulator in accordance with a 3D model, which results in a high-precision blank that is to be further processed by a CNC machine.

Application.
This method is widely used in shipbuilding, machine-building and other industries to repair large worn parts.
Advantages of WAAM:
- Free design of a product;
- Maximum utilization ratio of a material;
- Wide range of materials;
- Reduced number of production stages;
- Reduced production costs.
Materials.
We offer the following metals and alloys for this technology:
- Stainless steels
- Tool steels
- Titanium alloys
- Aluminum alloys
- Inconels
- Copper alloys
How to make an order?
If you want to order 3D printing but you don’t know which materials and technology to choose for your task, feel free to send us an e-mail to 3d@avianik.com with a detailed description of your task and 3D electronic models or call +7 (495) 78-313-78 ext. 172. Our specialists will recommend you optimal technologies and materials for your task.
To calculate the price of 3D printing for a particular 3D model we need to have your input data in .stl or .step. |
